Job Description: We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented IT Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for upgrading and maintaining servers and ensuring the proper packaging of products for shipment. This role requires a strong technical background, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Upgrade and replace server components such as CPUs, RAM, and storage devices.
- Conduct thorough testing and troubleshooting to ensure seamless integration and functionality of server hardware.
- Manage server configurations and maintain up-to-date documentation.
- Package hardware products securely and efficiently to ensure safe delivery to clients.
- Develop and implement efficient packaging processes to optimize shipment preparation.
- Maintain inventory of hardware components and packaging materials.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure timely and accurate fulfillment of orders.
- Adhere to safety and quality standards in all aspects of server maintenance and product packaging.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an IT Technician or in a similar technical support role.
- Strong knowledge of server hardware, including CPUs, RAM, storage devices, and configurations.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Meticulous attention to detail in handling and packaging hardware components.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Good communication skills and a customer-oriented approach.
- Relevant technical certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Microsoft, or Cisco) are a plus.
