Job Description: We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled 2nd Level Support Specialist to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing advanced technical support to our clients, resolving complex hardware-related issues that have been escalated from the 1st Level Support team. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in hardware, excellent problem-solving abilities, and a passion for customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle escalated technical issues from the 1st Level Support team, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware problems, including servers, hard drives, RAM, CPUs, and other components.
  • Collaborate with other support teams and departments to resolve complex hardware issues.
  • Document and track support cases, ensuring accurate and detailed records.
  • Provide training and guidance to 1st Level Support staff on hardware troubleshooting.
  • Identify and escalate critical hardware issues to senior management when necessary.
  • Contribute to the development of support documentation and knowledge base articles related to hardware.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a 2nd Level Support or similar technical support role, with a focus on hardware.
  • Strong knowledge of computer hardware systems, including servers, storage devices, and other components.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to communicate technical information clearly and concisely.
  • Strong customer service orientation and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience with support ticketing systems and remote support tools.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Relevant technical certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Cisco, or hardware vendor certifications) are a plus.
